Teaching and children are my greatest passions!
My family traveled all over the country and even into England throughout my childhood and education. I graduated from Sand Creek High School in Colorado Springs, and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction, both from Chadron State College in Nebraska.
I started playing volleyball in fifth grade and continued all the way through college, playing for my school at the NCAA Division II level. I still enjoy playing indoor, beach, and grass volleyball. Outside of volleyball, I enjoy using my spare time for outdoor activities, doing yoga, or hanging out at a local coffee shop!
I live in the downtown area of Colorado Springs with my husband, Tim, stepdaugher, Avie, and our two dogs Rawley the St. Bernard and Walker the hound! We also have two rats named Rose and Buttercup! We love to dance, sing, play, and explore together and absolutely love the communities we live and work in.
I look forward to getting to know your students and families better!
Here is a link to our daily schedule! Our schedule is always subject to change so please don't hesitate to contact me if you ever have questions about our day's happenings!
During the hybrid model the Specials teachers will spend two weeks with only one grade level at a time. All Specials will happen in our classroom with the exception of Music and PE. Below you will find a schedule with two week blocks and the Special that first grade will have for those two weeks. If we reach the end of this schedule, we will start back at the beginning of the rotation and I will update this page with a new set of two week blocks at that time.
